So, we are officially in Baghdad. This is one of my soldiers in the foreground. The swords are the entrance to a military parade field. I have another picture that shows the grounds much better. I just liked this one. On another note, please keep the Henkes family in your thoughts and prayers this Christmas. We will be remembering him here and celebrating in his name. I would ask for everyone back home to have just a moment of silence in honor of his memory and his family. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas Steve! I had a nice Christmas celebration with the Ciano clan but your presence was clearly missed. You are always in our thoughts and we are so proud of you and your men. Stay safe!

Stephen:
Best wishes to you and your guys. We got the family troops fed over Christmas. It was sorta like two-a-day practices. Grandma Joan still with us 'til Saturday.
Happy new year all 'round.
