Heading into a house to talk with some people. Little things will either set you on the right path towards getting what you want from people or the exact opposite direction. I take my gloves off to shake hands and glasses off to look them in the eye. This helps a great deal, but obviously within mission constraints. Inside a house, its not a problem. Its the little things that reap great rewards here.

how wonderful it is that you take note of the "little things" that are, in fact, monumental to those you are protecting....... keep sharing your thoughts; the truth is such a welcome sound amidst the media din....... know that you and your men are continually being lifted up in prayer.....

That *is* wonderful, the same principles that make you successful in every other area (treating people with dignity) make you successful now - dignity seems to be the first step to democracy, people seeing *themselves* as human beings worthy of having a voice in government and their own fate, you are personally certainly a step in the right direction.

Also - it's very cute to see the Stryker parallel parked in the background. Obviously a skill you learned trying to park your Avalanche in Haile!

Hi- it's been awhile since I commented. I love how you make a point of looking people in the eyes when you talk. I've always liked people who do that. Stay safe- we're taking care of your girl over here!

Steve, as usual, you show what a GOOD man you are. It takes so little to consider others, yet so few do, even in our safe environment. I am endlessly proud that you are my sons' friend. Be safe and remember we are praying for you!

Today in Perry we are honoring all the veterans and current soldiers at a luncheon celebrating Veterans Day. Please tell your men that they are being recognized at this ceremony. We in Perry thank you all for your courageous and honorabe service.

Stay safe and may God Bless you all!
